Thanks to financing from The Awapatent Foundation for the Promotion of Scientific Research in the Area of Intellectual Property Rights, we have initiated a new research project called Linking tech firms’ IP investments to their financial results. The main purpose of this research project is to empirically and theoretically identify, describe, and explicate the links between company investments in IP, patents in particular, and financial results, as well as the impact of the business, technology, and IP strategies on such links.
