Marcus Holgersson (far left in the photo below) has received a scholarship from the Hans Werthén foundation. The foundation supports young academics in memory of Hans Werthén, a former CEO of Electrolux and chairman of both Electrolux and Ericsson. Holgersson received the scholarship for his research on intellectual property management, which is highly relevant for both Electrolux and Ericsson, both multinational firms in electronics-related industries. Holgersson will use the scholarship to finance a visiting scholar stay in the US.

Our researcher Ove Granstrand recently spent a week in Iran, invited by The Iranian Association for Management of Technology (IRAMOT) to give an opening keynote speech at the Fifth International Conference on Management of Technology: “Learning and Technological Innovation in Large Enterprises and Networks”  on 16 -17 December 2015 in Tehran. Ove Granstrand also had discussions with ministers and industry leaders about the important role of  industrial R&D and innovation in an emerging post-sanction economy and gave a couple of academic seminars on related topics.
